2D and 3D relationship plots
Plot one channel against another, or three channels in 3D, straight from existing channels, with no formula or lookup table.
Where to find it
- + (Add panel) → Relationship plot → 2D / 3D
Steps
- 1
Add the plot
Add a Relationship plot and choose 2D (the default) or 3D under Plot dimensions.
- 2
Pick the channels
Set X channel and Y channel, plus Z channel in 3D, from recorded or saved calculated channels, for example X = RPM, Y = TPS and Z = Lambda. The points appear as soon as the axes are set; in 3D, Z also drives the Color scale.
- 3
Set scope and filters
Open Scope and filters to pick the entire recording, the current selection, a lap or Compare laps, plus a Region and a saved Condition. Laps are told apart by color.
- 4
Move around
2D: drag to pan and scroll to zoom. 3D: drag to rotate, Shift-drag to pan and scroll to zoom, or use Top view · XY, Front view · XZ and Side view · YZ. Show grid and Reset view are in the plot tools.
- 5
Read values
Click a point, or use ←/→ on the focused plot, to read its values. Locate in telemetry moves the cursor to that moment.
Good to know
Fits in 2D
Fit offers Off, Linear, Quadratic and Cubic, with R² and RMSE in the statistics details.
Binned statistics
X bins (Off, 8, 16, 32 or 64) adds a table of statistics per bin, with Export CSV.
How points are paired
Samples are aligned on the X channel's clock; a point with any missing value is left out.
No lookup table needed
To see RPM, TPS and Lambda together, use a 3D relationship plot. Lookup tables are for creating a new channel from a known relationship.
Lattiro Assistant · Beta (invite only)
In the beta, the assistant can add a relationship plot, switch it between 2D and 3D and set the X, Y and Z channels; you can keep editing it by hand.
