Record info: session, conditions and notes
Store the background of a recording, such as event, session, conditions, notes and tags, so you can find and compare it later.
Where to find it
- Navigation → Record info (reads Record info · info needed when details are missing)
Steps
- 1
Open the panel
Click Record info in the navigation. A dot marks it, and the affected tab, when the rider, session type, weather or surface is missing; choosing Unknown counts as filled.
- 2
Fill in Overview
Enter Event, Session (type: Practice, Qualifying, Race, Test, Track day, Other or Unknown, plus a name such as FP2), Class, Date (Today fills it in) and Vehicle from the vehicle library. Track and Logger are read-only.
- 3
Add Conditions
Choose Weather and Surface, then enter Air temp and Track temp (°C), Humidity (%), Pressure (hPa) and Wind speed (m/s), with the wind direction relative to the main straight: Headwind, Tailwind or Crosswind.
- 4
Write notes and tags
Notes take up to 4000 characters. Type a tag and press Enter (up to 24 tags), or pick one under Frequent.
- 5
Save
Click Save, or press ⌘/Ctrl+S while the panel has focus. Restore discards unsaved edits; History lists what each save changed.
Good to know
Reuse the previous recording
When Use the previous recording's info appears, Apply fills only empty fields; the session name, notes and tags are not copied.
Riders
The Rider tab assigns riders to the whole recording or to laps. See Vehicle setups and rider profiles.
Shared by interpretations
All interpretations of the same source file share one copy of record info.
Allowed values
Numbers outside the allowed range cannot be saved, for example Air temp −50 to 70 °C and Track temp −50 to 90 °C.
Fill in many at once
Start center → Batch fill sets shared info for up to 50 recordings.
