Start center: workspaces and recordings

Open workspaces, find and open recordings, fill in their details in batches and delete what you no longer need.

Where to find it

  • Shown after you sign in
  • Lattiro mark at the upper left of Analysis, or ⌘/Ctrl+O
  • macOS: File → Start Center

Steps

  1. Open a workspace

Click Create / open workspace, or a workspace under Recent workspaces. Its … button (Workspace actions) offers Rename and Remove from list; removing only shortens the list, and the data stays on disk.

  2. Find a recording

Recordings in this workspace lists Recording, Date, Session, Rider, Vehicle, Track, Condition and Data status. Search recordings matches file names, events, riders, notes and tags; Filters narrows by rider, vehicle, track, session type, surface, tags, date and temperatures.

  3. Open it

Click a recording name to open it in Analysis. Continue analysis returns to the recording that is already open.

  4. Complete missing details

Info needed lists recordings without a rider, session type, weather or surface. Batch fill sets shared info (event, date, weather, surface, temperatures) and each recording's session and rider for up to 50 listed recordings; fields left empty are kept.

  5. Add or combine recordings

Import data adds a recording to this workspace. Merge / join creates a combined recording and keeps the sources.

  6. Delete a recording

Click Delete on its row and confirm. Its data, laps, annotations and formulas, and its other interpretations, are deleted for good; the original file you imported is not affected.

Good to know

  • Other interpretations

If the same source file has been read more than once, Other interpretations · n opens an earlier reading without replacing the current recording.

  • Workspace folder requirements

The folder must be writable and on a local APFS or NTFS disk. Read-only data folders, exFAT/FAT32 drives, NAS and cloud-sync folders are refused, and the message explains why.

  • Header buttons

The top right of Start center holds Knowledge vaults, the gear for Settings and your account.

  • Filtering by date

Recordings without a date are filtered by their import date. Clear filters resets the filter fields.
