Choose the GPS source
When a recording has several latitude/longitude pairs, choose the one used for the map, laps, distance, lap time delta and cursor position.
Where to find it
- Track map → Map settings (bottom left) → View → GPS source
- Track calibration → GPS source in the map toolbar
Steps
- 1
Open GPS source
On a track map, click Map settings at the bottom left, stay on View and expand GPS source. On the Track calibration page, use the GPS source button in the map toolbar.
- 2
Find the pair
Search names or original names. Each entry shows the latitude / longitude channels and their sample rate; the current choice is highlighted.
- 3
Pick it
Click a pair. Lattiro saves it for this recording and recalculates the trace, distance, laps, lap time delta and cursor position.
- 4
Carry on
When the map has refreshed, choose laps or open Track calibration. Come back to the same control to change the source.
Good to know
Several traces detected
If more than one pair qualifies, the map shows Multiple GNSS traces detected with Choose GPS source, and each candidate lists its evidence, such as valid share and rate. The calibration page first asks you to select a latitude/longitude channel pair.
Stored per recording
The choice applies to this recording only and never changes the recorded coordinates.
Not while editing
On the calibration page, the GPS source button is unavailable while you edit a calibration.
No usable pair
If no pair qualifies, the map shows GNSS trace unavailable and the Track calibration page shows No GNSS trace available for calibration. All other channels still work in plots and calculations.
Check GPS jumps
Map settings → View → Overlay recorded GNSS draws the raw GNSS trace on top so you can spot jumps. It only affects the display.
