Arrange panels and views
Build the analysis canvas from panels: add as many as you need, arrange and resize them, or move one to a separate window.
Where to find it
- Analysis → + (Add panel) at the right end of the context bar
- Open views (layers icon) to its left
Steps
- 1
Add a panel
Click + (Add panel) at the right end of the context bar and choose a panel. You can add the same type more than once.
- 2
Arrange the canvas
Drag a panel by its header to move it, and drag its edges to resize it. Maximize panel fills the canvas; Restore panel puts it back.
- 3
Use more screens
Click Open in a separate window (multiple displays) in the panel header to move the panel to its own window.
- 4
Rename, duplicate or close
Right-click a panel for Rename, Duplicate component, Properties and Close; telemetry plots and track maps also offer Marks…. After closing, a Closed notice with Undo stays for about 10 seconds.
- 5
Find open panels
Open views (the layers icon left of +) lists every panel on the canvas and in separate windows. Pick one to bring it forward.
- 6
Fix a panel's range
Right-click a panel and choose Pin analysis range to keep its current range; Follow global selection links it again. See Analysis range and panel ranges.
Good to know
Panel types
Telemetry plots, Track map, Live instruments; Lap table, Channel comparison & statistics, Histogram, Relationship plot, Spectrum, Bit field, Interval details; and Lattiro Assistant, which is Beta (invite only).
Navigation
The navigation sits on the left by default: File; Analysis, Vehicle and Track (⌘/Ctrl+1–3); Record info, Rider information, Calculations, Marks and Knowledge vaults; Channel management; the gear and your account at the bottom. Settings → Interface → Navigation position moves it to the top, and Show names beside icons adds labels.
Layout template
Open views → Layout templates → Analysis overview puts a lap table and map above telemetry, and a Lattiro Assistant panel on the right, which is Beta (invite only). Existing panels keep their channels and settings; the template applies only when you choose it.
Closing is not deleting
Closing a panel removes only its display. Recorded data, channels and formulas stay, and you can close the last panel for a blank canvas.
Separate windows
A popped-out panel stays in sync with the workspace. Separate windows have no right-click menu, and the keyboard cursor keys do not work there yet.
