Lattiro Assistant (Beta)

Beta (invite only): the Lattiro assistant answers questions about the open recording and prepares tables, plots, formulas and marks for you to review. It is not part of the free version.

Where to find it

  • Beta (invite only) · Lattiro Assistant button at the lower right of Analysis, or + (Add panel) → Lattiro Assistant
  • Settings → Model services

Steps

  1. Apply for the beta

The assistant is open by invitation to selected professional teams and riders. Write to beta@lattiro.com with your team or name, championship and class, the loggers you use and your plans for the season. We reply in person; when there is a place, we send an invitation and set up your access.

  2. Open the assistant

Click the Lattiro Assistant button at the lower right of Analysis, or add the Lattiro Assistant panel. Settings → Model services → Assistant → Opens as chooses Workbench component (docked right) or Floating window.

  3. Choose what it may read

Click the context button in the input footer (Choose data at first) to open Data & access. Under Assistant can read, choose All channels of the current recording, Selected channels only (up to 8), or “No telemetry; help and permitted personal knowledge only”. You cannot send until you choose.

  4. Ask

Type in Ask Lattiro Assistant and press Enter; Shift+Enter adds a line. The context button shows what the question uses, such as Current recording · L3, L5 · T4, with up to 8 laps of the current recording. Stop cancels an answer.

  5. Review and apply

Changes to formulas, channels, record info and calibration arrive as cards: click Review and apply, and Undo if needed. Interface actions and note saves follow Action permissions: Run directly or Confirm each time.

  6. Talk to it

With Lattiro service, click Start voice conversation beside the input and allow microphone access. Speak to interrupt an answer; press Esc or click again to end. Read a summary of the last reply plays a short summary.

Good to know

  • Lattiro service or your own API

Approved accounts use Lattiro service, which needs no API key and shows Available, Used, In progress and Pending credits. Your own API supports OpenAI, Anthropic or a Custom service: Save stores it on this device, Get models lists the models and Test connection checks the link. Voice works with Lattiro service only.

  • What is sent

Each question sends only the computed results and channel details the answer needs, plus a few curve samples if you allow them. Original recording files are never uploaded.

  • Before the track is calibrated

The preparation card offers Auto-detect, which proposes a timing reference and corners, or Manual calibration. An automatic timing line is a custom reference, not a verified standard start/finish line.

  • What it does not do

It works on the current authorized recording only. Importing or deleting recordings, moving gate lines, batch analysis, merging, Python/MATLAB and binding across recordings stay in their own interfaces.

  • Free accounts

In the free version, the assistant panel shows “Assistant access currently requires an approved professional driver or team beta account, including when using your own API.” and questions cannot be sent.

  • New conversation and help

+ (New conversation) clears the chat and any unapplied proposals; saved content is kept. ? (Help) searches the built-in help.
