My library: save and reuse calculations
Keep your own formulas, events and intervals in a personal library and apply them to other recordings with new inputs.
Where to find it
- Navigation → Calculations → My library
- formula editor → More actions → Save to my calculation library
Steps
- 1
Save a calculation
Open a saved calculation and choose More actions → Save to my calculation library; its supporting calculations are included. The copy button in the Calculations in this recording header saves all of this recording's calculations as one Calculation group.
- 2
Describe it
Enter a Name, Description and Tags, tick Favorites if you use it often, and give each entry under Required inputs a clear name. The footer reads Saved on this device · Cloud sync is not available yet.
- 3
Use it in another recording
Open My library and choose the item. Bind each input to a channel of this recording (only unit-compatible channels are offered), click Preview, then Apply to current record.
- 4
Organize the library
Favorites are listed first. Each item has buttons to favorite it, edit its details or delete it.
Good to know
Library items and recordings
Applying creates an independent copy in the recording. Editing or deleting the library item later does not change calculations already applied.
Where it is stored
My library lives on this computer and is not synced to other devices. Like the rest of Lattiro it needs you to be signed in, and it keeps working offline while your offline access is valid.
Check meanings, not just units
Matching units do not mean matching signals: throttle request and throttle opening are different inputs.
What cannot be saved
Calculations that depend on Python / MATLAB script results cannot be saved to My library.
Workspace templates
Older workspaces may list workspace templates under Current recording; their copy button copies one to My library.
Lattiro Assistant · Beta (invite only)
In the beta, the assistant can search My library by name, tag and inputs; saving, applying and deleting stay in this interface.
